Post 16 Start of Term Arrangements September 2010
- All Year 13 lessons commence on Monday 6th September, period 1
- Induction for new Post 16 students commences on Wednesday 1st September 2010 from 12.30pm
- Student induction interviews take place of Thursday 2nd September and Friday 3rd September 2010 from 8.30am until 2.40pm
- Year 12 lessons will commence on Monday 6th September, period 3
- New Year 12 students can collect their timetables from the Post 16 Common Room from 10.15am on Monday 6th September 2010
Post 16 Results Day, Thursday 19th August 2010
- A2 results can be collected from the Library from 9.30am
- AS students should collect their results and their timetables for the new academic year from 10.30am
- Senior staff and the post 16 team will be available to offer support and guidance throughout the morning
- In the first instance, priority will be given to students who have issues with their university places
Start of the new School Year
The new school year for students starts on Thursday 2nd September.
Year 7 students should arrive in the quad by 9.30am.
Year 8 to 11 students start at 10.45 and should go to their form rooms.
School finishes for all students at the normal time of 2.40pm.
For Health and Safety reasons, parents are asked not to drive onto the school site at the start and end of the school day. We also ask that you show consideration to our neighbours in
Normal timetable (8.30 to 2.40) resumes for all students on Friday 3rd September.
Year 5 Prospective Parents' Evening
We shall be holding a Year 5 Prospective Parents' Evening on Thursday 8th July 2010 from 6.30pm onwards.
Parents please note that School will close at the earlier time of 1.10pm on this day to allow for students and staff to prepare.

We are therefore inviting selected pupils and their parents to attend the appointments evening on Thursday 1st July 2010. There will be a presentation and discussion on how young adults can be assisted in their learning at 6pm, followed by an opportunity to talk to your child’s Head of House and also meet with subject representatives in areas of concern.
If invited please ensure that your child negotiates appointment times to suit with the appropriate subject teachers on the sheet you will have been provided with and confirm your attendance by returning the slip on the invitation letter. Entry to and from School will be via Community. Meetings will be based in the English area and Dining Room.
